Candice holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. A BC Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) since 2007, she has extensive experience providing counselling, education, and consulting services to individuals through in-person, online, and phone sessions. She is committed to providing a down-to-earth, therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate their personal challenges.

Candice applies evidence-based approaches in her therapy, using an integrative, collaborative model that draws from various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, and others.
She also incorporates insights from neuroscience and trauma-informed perspectives to ensure a deeper understanding of how the brain and body respond to stress, trauma, and change.

Outside of Counselling Candice believes in nurturing her own well-being so she can show up authentically for both her personal relationships and her clients. She has called the West Coast of BC home for most of her life, living in various destinations before moving to Tofino in 2012. Now, she divides her time between the Coast, Oceanside, and her travels, which fuel her adventurous spirit. Though she enjoys exploring, Tofino is where she feels most at home. Whether surfing, walking the beach with her rescue pups, or simply sitting by the water, the ocean plays a central role in her life, offering inspiration, learning, and grounding.
