Robin was born and raised in Smithers B.C. where he grew up snowboarding and hiking. He discovered Ucluelet in his early twenties, drawn to surfing the rugged coastline and the people, he has lived here on and off since 2007. Robin’s career journey began with carpentry, shifted to forest fire fighter, then Electrician and finally Registered Massage Therapist. Robin has always been drawn to massage and working with people. He grew up massaging his friends and family and has always dreamt of doing massage for a living.
A recent graduate of WCCMT Victoria, Robin enjoys using his clinical assessment skills and knowledge of anatomy to see how to best help people and then employing techniques like myofascial Release, joint mobilization, muscle belly stripping , trigger point therapy and lymphatic drainage as well as more general Swedish massage. Always aiming for the perfect pressure, Robin strives to make each treatment safe and effective. Robin understands that health is a journey and is honoured to be a part of his clients’ healing journeys. He also enjoys giving home care to help his patients work on their bodies in between treatments.
When not massaging Robin can be found in the gym, on a beach, in the mountains or running along the Wild Pacific Trail.
